If you want to kick up your bass genetics or you can’t wait two years to start fishing a new lake, stocking advanced F1s is a great option. We were able to ‘fast track’ this recently renovated lake by stocking a ton of bluegills and adult Tiger Bass (courtesy of American Sportfish). If you have an established lake it will be important to assess your bass and prey populations before adding additional adult bass. Selective harvest via electrofishing will help fine tune your overall population densities to insure proper growth. Can’t wait to see these guys in the fall!
